Six ways we support a residential project

Most clients take the full sequence — design through construction support. Any of these can also be taken on its own, including work already started by someone else.

Architectural House Design

01

Architectural House Design

Residential layouts developed around your site, your family and the way you actually live — not a catalogue plan adjusted to fit.

We start with the land, the access, the setbacks and your budget, then work through plan options with you until the layout genuinely works. Drawings are prepared to the standard your municipality expects, so the approval process does not stall over technicalities.

What you receive

  • Concept and option studies
  • Floor plans, elevations and sections
  • Municipal submission drawing set
  • Door, window and finishing schedules
Structural Engineering

02

Structural Engineering

Analysis and detailing for houses that have to stand up in a seismic zone — designed to NBC 105 and checked before anything is cast.

Every structure we design is analysed for seismic and gravity loads to the current Nepal Building Code, with foundation design based on the soil actually present on your plot. You receive detailing a site engineer can build from, not a drawing that leaves decisions to the mason.

What you receive

  • Load analysis to NBC 105:2020
  • Foundation design from soil conditions
  • Column, beam and slab detailing
  • Bar bending schedules and estimates
3D Visualisation

03

3D Visualisation

See the house properly before the first pillar is cast — the point where changes are still cheap.

Exterior and interior views produced from the actual design model, so what you approve is what gets built. Most clients use these to settle family disagreements about layout and finishes long before those decisions become expensive.

What you receive

  • Exterior views in context
  • Key interior spaces
  • Material and finish options
  • Walkthrough video on request
Site Planning

04

Site Planning

Positioning the building for orientation, access, drainage and the setbacks your ward office will actually enforce.

Narrow plots, awkward road access and sloping ground are normal in the valley. Getting the building position right at the start protects light, privacy and parking — and avoids the costly redesign that follows a rejected submission.

What you receive

  • Site analysis and survey review
  • Building position and orientation
  • Setback and bylaw compliance check
  • Access, parking and drainage layout
Construction Consultation

05

Construction Consultation

Technical guidance while the house is being built, so decisions on site are made with an engineer involved.

Periodic site visits at the stages that matter — foundation, each slab, and finishing — with written observations you can hand to your contractor. We check reinforcement before casting and review quantities against the estimate.

What you receive

  • Stage-wise site inspections
  • Reinforcement checks before casting
  • Written site observation reports
  • Contractor bill and quantity review
Renovation & Remodeling

06

Renovation & Remodeling

Assessment and design for extensions, added floors and retrofits to existing houses.

Adding a storey or opening up a ground floor changes how an existing structure behaves. We assess what is there, confirm what the existing foundation and columns can take, and design the strengthening needed before any layout work begins.

What you receive

  • Condition and structural assessment
  • Retrofit and strengthening design
  • Extension and additional floor design
  • Phased construction planning

How we work

Five stages, from first meeting to finished house

Each stage produces something you can hold, review and approve before the next one starts.

  1. 01

    First conversation

We meet at your site or our office and talk through what you need, what the plot allows and what your budget realistically covers. No charge for this stage.

  2. 02

    Site study and concept

We review the survey, check the bylaws that apply to your ward, and prepare two or three layout options for you to react to.

  3. 03

    Design development

The chosen option is worked up in detail — plans, elevations, sections and 3D views — until you are ready to commit to it.

  4. 04

    Structural design and drawings

Structural analysis, foundation and reinforcement detailing, and the full drawing set your municipality needs for approval.

  5. 05

    Construction support

Stage-wise site visits, reinforcement checks before casting, and written observations you can hand to your contractor.
